Commission Policy

Three Sisters' Marketplace believes that we should all be successful together and that means that artisans shouldn't pay before they make a sale. What that means to artisans is that there are no shop fees and no listing fees. Instead, artisans pay Three Sisters' Marketplace a commission on each sale they make through use of our Site — that's it.

Here are the details on the Three Sisters' Marketplace Commission Policy:

Sales Commission Policy:

Shop Creation — FREE!

• Create your own unique shop on our Site - write your bio, use your logo, add a link to your blog and other networking sites to connect with customers and other artisans...all for FREE!

Listing Items — FREE!

• List as many items as you want for FREE.
• We are able to offer this because we are a juried site, which leads to a higher level of quality items.

Commission Per Sale — 15% of the sale price of each item you sell on the Site...It's that simple!

• When you make a sale on the Site we will withhold an amount from the proceeds of such sale equal to 15% of the sale price ("Commission Fee").
• In calculating our Commission Fee, please note that the sale price does not include the cost of shipping and handling.
• We pay the PayPal transaction fee (approximately 3%) at the point of purchase.
• We forward you the proceeds of each sale along with your shipping fees, less the Commission Fee, 15 days from the date of the sale. This is to allow time for returns (please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for additional details).

Three Sisters' Marketplace Incentives — that's right Incentives!

• You can earn Incentives on the quality of your Artisan Shop is and how well you use Three Sisters' Marketplace to promote your shop.

Classes, Workshops and/or Events Commission Policy:

You can also use our Site to post & register people for Classes, Workshops and Events — please refer to our Classes, Workshops and Events Policies for more details on how to set these up and the policies for each. All classes, workshop and/or events take place at a location that the artisan secures — these are not online courses.

When you have shoppers, artisans or buyers register for a Class, Workshop or Event you will receive their information via email. If there is a registration and/or materials fees then the registrant pay us via the Site and we take a commission from each registration. Each registration is a sale.
