Experience: I have been making and selling my costumes, clothing and dresses at local craft fairs for many years and have finally entered the online world! I have been sewing for as long as I can remember. Right out of high school (many moons ago) I went to trade school to learn tailoring and finished my education at The University of The Arts in Philadelphia PA. I pretty much figured out that adult clothes are really boring. What's more fun than playing with ribbon, frills, and sparkly things? So I started making costumes and pretty things!
I am always doing something creative either sewing, gardening, knitting and quilting.

Description
Mermaid Tail TowelHave the cutest Mermaid on the Beach, at the Pool, or in the Bath this year! This is a Mermaid tail cover up. It goes on like a skirt with the legs coming out of a slit in the side. (you can see the slit on the right hand side of the photos) The wrap comes up high on the chest. The tail can either be pinned up by the hook and eye on the side, worn around the wrist, or left to trail behind. The tail is made of a minty green terry cloth with a bright blue sheer ruffle. It is machine washable on the gentile cycle. All inside seams have been overlocked to prevent fraying. It measures about 21 inches at the top opening (this is meant to be high up on the chest or around the waist) but will easily stretch to about 24 inches.
It will fit up to a size 8 Slim
This is for the Green and blue tail in the large photo, not the pink on the child is wearing. rim may vary
